A fantastically orange window facade in the Coyoacan area of Mexico City. I love the passion of the color!

There is nothing quite like a sunrise in Cancun on the Mexican Caribbean.

Also known as the El Dia de la Batalla de Puebla (The Battle of Puebla Day), Cinco de Mayo celebrates the victory of Mexican forces over the French in Puebla in 1862. Today it is also celebrated by millions of Mexican Americans to celebrate their heritage. I know I’m going out to have a margarita or two. Bring on my culture!
Nothing settles the soul quite like taking a walk around the beach at dusk and this picture of Puerto Panasco shows the beauty of Mexico. Not only does the ocean solidify my love affair with Mexico, but makes me really reflect how truly lucky Shaun and I are to have the opportunity to travel the world. Sunsets and beaches just don’t get tiring for me.
If you do happen to find yourself in the Puerto Panasco area for a bit, you may consider Rocky Point vacation rentals. Rocky Point (as is known by the locals) is another name given to the area and is super close to the Phoenix area. Definitely an easy get away if you are in the southwest.
