Our friend Kim (and owner of said cabin in Bataan, Costa Rica) watches the rain as it comes pouring down. Being in the middle of nowhere affords you time with no TV, internet, or modern day conveniences of that matter. It was purifying to say the least.

The cabin we were staying at during rainy season in Bataan, Costa Rica was entirely made out of the trees off our friends’ land giving it a rustic, outdoorsy feel.

At some points you ask yourself if it will ever let up. The answer really is – no. Just sit back, enjoy the sounds, and think about how awesome it is that you are in the rainforests of Costa Rica.

One of our favorite experiences in Costa Rica was heading out to the land our friends owned in Bataan, Costa Rica (or a small city outside the small city of Bataan).

This was a “must do” picture. The texture and age just beckoned to be shot in HDR. Let’s just say I wasn’t disappointed.
